A great workplace where six days a week, together with 140 other volunteers, you ensure that 2,300 people in the city of Groningen have food. In addition, we have an incredibly fun staff outing with all the volunteers every year.
Job tasks and duties
Are you still looking for a cosy and useful way to spend your Saturday morning?
There is room again in the nicest volunteer team of Groningen, at the Voedselbank Stad Groningen! Six days a week we are here to help city dwellers who are less fortunate supplement their groceries with fresh, varied and healthy products.
- In the morning when the trucks arrive, you and your colleagues will empty the trucks and sort the collected foodstuffs. In doing so, you pay close attention to how the product looks and the best-before date.
- Then you refill the shop with collected food.
- Following this, you will go through the shop with the clients to fill their shopping bags.
- Afterwards, you will help clean up with all of them and then go home satisfied.
