Job tasks and duties
WIJ Oosterparkwijk is intended for everyone in the Oosterpark neighbourhood and Woonschepenhaven. People from the Schilderswijk and the Centre are also welcome at our locations. As an employee Entrée, you are part of the WIJ team in a district of Groningen. You inform, advise and support local residents with their questions about, for example, housing, welfare, care and finances. You offer a listening ear and are open to ideas and initiatives from residents. In an initial conversation, you try to clarify the question and look for possibilities together with the resident. You are handy with the computer (looking up, registering, emailing) and can answer the phone.
Job skills and qualities
- You have some life experience and it is an advantage if you bring knowledge and experience from similar work.
- You are handy with the computer (look up, register, e-mail) and can answer the phone.
- You have good social and communication skills.
- You have a good command of the Dutch language (oral and written).
- You have some knowledge of laws and regulations, social services and the social map or you want to go into this.
- You are interested in current developments in the district.
- You can inform, advise and support.
- You can put yourself in the situation of the neighbourhood resident and you have an open attitude.
