As a buddy in elderly care, you will interact with different people. By listening to other people's stories, going for a walk together or having a cup of coffee, you will discover something new every day! As a volunteer at ZINN, you will be part of an energetic organisation. Everything we do starts with attention, for residents but also for staff and volunteers. So we organise various meetings and training courses for volunteers.
Job tasks and duties
As an elderly care buddy, you are ready with attention, a listening ear or relaxing activity. Residents really enjoy having a cup of coffee with a buddy, going for a walk or sharing a hobby together. As a buddy, you are paired with residents on a one-to-one basis. Every week, you visit the residents on the ward.

- You have an affinity for the elderly,
- You can work independently.
- You are patient, enthusiastic and happy to help others.
- You have an eye for individual needs of residents.
- You are customer-friendly and bring sociability with you.
