Petting zoo the Beestenborg in Ulgersmaborg has existed for almost 30 years. It is a green place where children and young people can get to know different animals. It is a nice meeting place for young and old to get to know each other and the world of animals. Since 2014, the Beestenborg has had a large playground with a terrace. The playground is wheelchair accessible and has the NSGK seal of approval. In short, a unique place for everyone!
Job tasks and duties
Ahead of yet another new season at petting zoo and playground the Beestenborg, we still have room for volunteers who would like to join our outlet on weekends. As a host you will be primarily responsible for selling coffee, tea, ice cream, etc. Other duties include (in consultation) supervising children's parties, keeping the office,outlet and sanitary facilities tidy. You are preferably available at least 1 afternoon (from 13:00 to 17:00) or morning (from 10:00 to 13:00) per month.

- You are sociable.
Extra information
We provide a safe environment for children to play and interact with animals. The trust given by the children's parents/carers is important to us. Since 1 August 2015, clients from Zorgboerderij de Golden Raand have also been working at the Beestenborg on weekdays.
