Job tasks and duties
Do you enjoy working with language and would you like to help newcomers with the language? Are you interested in people from other cultures? And would you like to free up a few hours a week to do so? Then become a language buddy. As a language buddy, you meet a foreign speaker attending Dutch lessons every week. Together, you practice the Dutch language in an informal way. You decide what you practice. That could be: speaking, listening, reading, writing, grammar or practising for the exam.
You help someone to get a step further and you get a valuable contact in return.
Minimum education level: mbo
Job skills and qualities
- You have an interest in other cultures.
- You have a good command of the Dutch language.
- You enjoy imparting knowledge and can explain well.
- You have social skills.
- You can work independently.
