Job tasks and duties
As a resident in a nursing home, I am so eager to get out. Will you join me:
- Go outside together for a walk or ride a duo bike
- Having a coffee together outside or inside
- Talking together about what interests me and offering a listening ear
- Times can be in consultation, during the day, in the evening, during the week but also at weekends
Job skills and qualities
- You show interest in the resident's living habits
- You can make contact with the resident in a pleasant way
- You are flexible and patient
- You are respectful, friendly and reliable.
- You speak the Dutch language.

The Maartenshof nursing home has a modern look, is surprising and as an organisation ‘always wants to see people'. We strive to organise work in such a way that residents and convalescents, family and other visitors enjoy coming to us. For volunteers, there is a lot of variety of work within the volunteer opportunities.
Travel expenses can be reimbursed up to a maximum of 21 kilometres per day. The reimbursement applied is € 0.21 per kilometre and amounts to a maximum of € 4.41 per day.
