You will form a bridge between the implementation and the board and be closely involved in the implementation.
You will contribute to better knowledge about autism in adults, from the perspective of people with autism themselves.
You will be part of a team of more than 45 autistic adults. You will get to know new people with autism. Our working methods are geared to autistic characteristics.
You will be told clearly what is expected of you. We work with written out job descriptions and guidelines.
You can do this volunteer work from home, from anywhere in the Netherlands or Belgium. All contact takes place via e-mail, WhatsApp and Zoom.
Job tasks and duties
You will actively participate in the board meeting (once every 4 weeks on Monday evening, via Teams, approx. 1 hour).
In the absence of the chairman, you chair the board meeting and direct the other board members.
You adapt the volunteer policy in the event of new developments and discuss it with the relevant coordinators.
You will help shape a management team to be established by drawing up task lists and familiarisation documents.
You discuss ongoing implementation issues in the coordination meeting (once every 2 weeks via Teams, approx. 45 min).
Job skills and qualities
You are good at monitoring the agenda in a meeting and making sure everyone comes into their own.
You can lead a group of six board members.
You can communicate well functionally and respond in a timely manner.
You are reliable, keep your appointments and do your tasks independently.
You have an affinity for governance or similar activities, such as leadership or project management.
