You can do this volunteer work from home, from anywhere in the Netherlands or Belgium. All contact takes place via e-mail, WhatsApp and Zoom.
Job tasks and duties
- We are looking for an autism volunteer to coordinate the management of our website and software.
- Autism Digital is fully digitally organised and has 50 volunteers working together to provide better information about autism in adults. In doing so, we use various ICT systems: we have a comprehensive WordPress website, a Teams environment, Webinargeek for the webinars and a CRM for managing our volunteers. As ICT coordinator, you will ensure that these systems are managed, that volunteers who need it are given access and that they receive technical support when requested. You can take on these tasks yourself or delegate them to other volunteers.
What are the tasks?
You ensure that new volunteers get access to Teams and any other systems they need to work with.
Our website is built and managed by an ICT company. Your role is to ensure Wordpress is kept up to date and further developed where necessary.
You will manage our Teams environment and ensure volunteers have access to the appropriate teams.
You ensure there are up-to-date manuals for using our ICT systems.
You hold intake interviews with new working group members and work them in.
You participate monthly in the coordinators meeting via Zoom (1 hour).
Job skills and qualities
You can work independently, without anyone reminding you what to do.
You can communicate well verbally and in writing about work.
You want to learn to lead in a voluntary context or already have experience in this.
You like administrative tasks and work carefully.
You are handy enough with computers to work with our website and other systems.
You certainly don't need to be able to program yourself, but you do have experience with Wordpress or another CMS.

This interview will take about 35-40 minutes. If you like, someone you know can be present during the interview. If you want, you can get the questions in advance. On the one hand, this interview serves to get to know you and see if the position suits you. On the other hand, we will give more information about the position and our organisation.
