We are a playground that has been around for more than 50 years. As a volunteer, you work together with the caretaker. As a reward, we do fun things for the volunteer such as a Christmas package/dinner and we have a fun evening for all volunteers every year.
Job tasks and duties
Surrounding the playground, we have a large garden with play equipment surrounded by trees and bushes. This needs to be maintained so that children can play safely. For example, we have a passage through the bushes that children can walk through. In addition, the sandpit and drop sand must be maintained regularly.
You will consult with the administrator about what needs to be done to the playground and carry out this work alone or together with the administrator.
We are looking for an enthusiastic volunteer to maintain the vegetation around our playground. Tasks include:
Cleaning the fall sand
Priming the bushes
Maintenance of the playground equipment (cleaning)
Other common work
Job skills and qualities
A person with experience in green space maintenance who enjoys contributing to a clean and safe playground for children.
