What do we offer? A lovely association of committed people who are committed to animals. The board has an informal atmosphere with good mutual relations. Once a year, there is a dinner for volunteers and an open day for members and interested parties. Input is appreciated; there is plenty of room for ideas and suggestions for improvement. An important secondary objective of DAG is to offer temporary work or internship places to people at a disadvantage on the labour market and provide them with opportunities to gain work experience. Besides animals, the board is also committed to developing volunteers.
Job tasks and duties
The board acts as a facilitating board and it supports and monitors the manager of the DAG. The board is accountable to the association's members. The board meets seven to 10 times a year. The time commitment is on average four hours per month and the position is unpaid.
Minimum education level: hbo/wo
Job skills and qualities
Animal Ambulance Groningen is looking for an enthusiastic board member with a heart for animals. Administrative experience is an advantage, but it is not necessary. Your field of expertise does not matter, as long as you have affinity with the organisation and the volunteers who work for us. The animal ambulance is not a commercial company and we attach great value to the development of our volunteers. We would like to see you bring an active and broad network with you.
