You guide a friendly, committed group that is open to all kinds of culture for the Goudmakers Corpus den Hoorn project. Together with the group, you will devise a programme, in which your input and ideas are very important. You can use your own creativity and have a lot of freedom.
Job tasks and duties
Do you enjoy accompanying a mixed group of 50+ people in activities such as theatre, singing (with or without an instrument), movement, dance and music, performance art, writing (poetry)? Then become a volunteer for Goudmakers! This is a project of We Groningen. The current participants are local residents of Corpus den Hoorn and surrounding neighbourhoods. They participated in the Goudmakers Corpus den Hoorn project in the spring of 2024. Every week they meet for two hours to do various cultural activities/workshops.
What will you do:
- Create a programme together with the group for the weekly meetings. In this you will include the participants' own input.
- Supervise the group during the meetings.
- Make contacts with musicians/dancers/artists who would like to give a workshop.
- Creating and conducting cultural workshops yourself.
- If desired, work towards a presentation/open stage in the district.
Job skills and qualities
- You are enthusiastic and inspiring.
- You can guide a group.
- You are musically and/or culturally gifted/interested.
- If you can accompany the group musically, that is a plus.
Extra information
The current location of meeting is Neighbourhood House the Semmelstee, Semmelweisstraat 182 in Corpus den Hoorn. The group meets on Mondays from 10:30am to 12:30pm.
