We are looking for a new volunteer for our residential centre, a unique place where deaf people with complex care needs live. We are looking for someone with a warm heart and enthusiasm to provide an enjoyable time for our "walking" clients.
Job tasks and duties
Do you enjoy taking regular walks with a small group of residents when the weather is nice? And to play games together or organise other activities on site when the weather is not so good? Then we are looking for you!
Job skills and qualities
Some knowledge of sign language would be a nice addition, but most importantly, you can connect with attention and patience. Our residents appreciate genuine engagement, and even without perfect gestures, you can mean a lot. We will make sure you get the support you need.
