Job tasks and duties
The Chinese Tea House is uniquely located in the middle of the magnificent Chinese Garden. The Chinese Garden at Hortus is one of the three Chinese gardens outside China. The walled garden and tea house were designed by Shanghai's city architect and built by Chinese craftsmen using authentic Chinese building materials.
The Chinese Tea House is the ideal venue for special occasions. Moreover, the Chinese Tea House is an official wedding location of the municipality of Groningen.
As a hostess or host, you and your colleagues will be the face of an unforgettable day for our guests. You will discuss their wishes and ensure that everything is organised down to the last detail. From team meetings and weddings to birthday parties, receptions and other special occasions; you will ensure that each event runs perfectly and our guests leave with a smile.
Job skills and qualities
- Enjoys speaking to guests and giving them a great day;
- Is a spider in the web and at home in all areas of the catering business;
- Likes to help maintain and strengthen Hortus Haren;
