Job tasks and duties
The water garden in the Hortus Haren is located next to an extensive wild plant garden. The water garden consists of two parts; namely a pond section with wooden decking and pergolas, and a section with aquatic, riparian, and marsh plants along the banks of a meandering stream.
As a volunteer in the Water Garden, you will contribute to the maintenance of this special garden. Together with an enthusiastic team, you will look after the water and climbing plants, and ensure that the garden remains a beautiful, inviting place for our visitors.
Job skills and qualities
- Has green fingers;
- Has knowledge of and/or affinity with water and climbing plants;
- Has experience in gardening or would like to learn;
- Likes to contribute to maintaining and strengthening Hortus Haren;
