From 13 to 15 December, the dark days before Christmas, around twenty atmospherically lit historic ships on the Hoge, Lage and Kleine der A, the Pottebakkersrijge and the Sluiskade will form the fairy-tale backdrop for the city's most enjoyable winter event: WinterWelVaart.
A number of ships, Museumcafé Het Pomphuis, Museum aan de A, the der Aa-Theater and the Akerk will be packed with performances. From music to theatre and from lectures and exhibitions to creative workshops.
This is how we bring an Ode to Groningen.
Job tasks and duties
The festival site is car- and bike-free, it will be completely cordoned off.
Would you like to help direct traffic in and around the festival site? Great! We will pay for your course to become a traffic supervisor.
