Board member

Urgent
Stichting Sedna Herstelacademie • job opening nr. 14169

Interesting about this job

The role of recovery academies within the field of care and welfare is growing. They are seen as one of the answers to waiting lists and overload in the mental health sector and they offer opportunities to provide different answers to care questions than a medical pathway. This is happening in line with national and regional policies around renewal of care and welfare: Integral and Regional Care Agreement and Mental Health Ecosystems.

Job tasks and duties

The Sedna Recovery Academy board is responsible for developing and drafting long-term policy, project plans and reports, maintaining and expanding the network and collaborating on or thinking about projects. The Board is thus responsible for responsible growth and further organisational development. Sedna is a foundation with four permanent employees. In addition, people are hired on an occasional basis to carry out various courses and other activities.

We are looking for people for the positions of secretary and chairman, and when these are filled, also general board members. The board meets eight to 10 times a year, with an employee from Sedna's permanent team also present. The board creates the conditions, under which the permanent team can realise the implementation.
