Do you like to be outdoors? Do you enjoy going out with a group of people? Do you enjoy passing on your knowledge of flora, fauna and the cultural history of the area to others? Then join the volunteers of Team Reitdiep who organise excursions from our Visitors' Centre Reitdiep in Noorderhoogebrug.
Job tasks and duties
Biking through the Reitdiepdal, watching meadow birds in the Koningslaagte, or taking a long seasonal walk through the area. There is a wide variety on offer and after a familiarisation period you can also think up and organise your own excursion. If you wish, you can take a course in excursion techniques to further develop your skills. Is it almost time then? The Public Relations Department will bring your excursion to the public's attention by placing it on our website and sending out press releases. Hopefully there will be many applications and you and your guests will enjoy all the beauty that the Reitdiepdal has to offer!
Job skills and qualities
If you enjoy sharing your love of nature, landscape and heritage with others, this is the ideal volunteer work for you. You can determine the subject of your excursion yourself and also when you give the excursion. Of course, in close consultation with your teammates and within the framework of our organisation.
