As a Volunteer Management Team volunteer, you will ensure a warm landing for our new volunteers. Of course, you will not do this alone but together with the volunteers and staff of Team Volunteer Management. You have the opportunity to work from home as well as at our office in Groningen. We are looking for someone with a proactive attitude where you will have the opportunity to help think about procedures and processes. In addition, we will ensure that you can further develop your talents, for example by attending training courses.

Job tasks and duties

Are you that connecting factor and would you like to contribute to strengthening our team in the Northern Netherlands? For the Groningen, Friesland and Drenthe region, we are looking for an enthusiastic volunteer for the Volunteer Management Team (TVM) with a focus on Groningen. As a TVM volunteer, you will be the link between volunteers, coordinators and our team.

  • be part of the selection team and conduct interviews with new volunteers.
  • Registering candidates in our records and tracking their status during onboarding.
  • Posting vacancies on the various recruitment channels.
  • Organising introductory meetings.
  • Monitor and if necessary adjust the onboarding of new volunteers.
  • Matching up buddies, maintaining contact with them and organising the buddy meeting.
  • Be the first point of contact for (new) volunteers.

Minimum education level: mbo

Job skills and qualities

  • You preferably live in the city of Groningen.
  • You are an administrative jack-of-all-trades with good knowledge of MS Office.
  • You work very accurately and have good knowledge of the Dutch language.
  • You are flexible and preferably available for an average of 10 hours a week.
  • A background in HR is a plus.

The emphasis in this vacancy is largely on the administration of the volunteer journey.
