- This is a varied position, in which you will get to know all aspects of the foundation.
- You will contribute to better knowledge about adult autism, from the perspective of people with autism themselves.
- You will be part of a team of more than 45 autistic adults. You will get to know new people with autism. Our working methods are geared to autistic characteristics.
- You will be clearly told what is expected of you. We work with written job descriptions and guidelines.
- You can do this volunteer work from home, from anywhere in the Netherlands or Belgium. All contact is via e-mail, WhatsApp and Zoom.
Job tasks and duties
- You will replace one of the coordinators if he or she quits or drops out. This may take several months.
- At least four times a year, you will take charge of the coordinators during the absence of the chairman.
- You will join the coordinators' meeting on a monthly basis and take the minutes.
Job skills and qualities
- You can work well independently and take action on your own without needing to be reminded.
- You can express your opinion in a group and respond critically to the opinions of others.
- You can communicate well, verbally and via email and whatsapp.
- You are good at filtering and distinguishing main and side issues.
- You are experienced in organising and managing.
Because we are an organisation for and by autistic adults, we do not accept volunteers who are under 18 or who are not autistic themselves. This allows us to guarantee volunteer experience placements for autistic adults and keeps our activities based on own experience of having autism as an adult.

Are you interested? Then contact our chairman, Frederik Boven. He will contact you within 24 hours (excluding holidays). He will then make an appointment for an interview via Zoom. This interview will take about 35-40 minutes. If you like, someone you know can be present during the interview. If you want, you can get the questions in advance. On the one hand, this interview serves to get to know you and see if the position suits you. On the other hand, we will give more information about the position and our organisation.
