For Forum Library Ten Boer, we are looking for an enthusiastic hostess or host at the Reinforcement Square, which takes place weekly on Tuesday evenings from 17.00 to 19.00.
The Reinforcement Square is unique in the Netherlands. Residents can come here with questions about earthquake damage, subsidies or making a home more sustainable, among other things. Consultations by various organisations, such as the NCG, IMG and SNN, take place at the Reinforcement Square at the same time. As a result, residents can go to one place with all their questions.
Job tasks and duties
As a hostess or host, you will be the point of contact at the Reinforcement Square. You offer partners and visitors a hospitable welcome. You actively approach visitors, listen to their questions and refer them to the appropriate services on the Reinforcement Square. You provide information about the services taking place at the Reinforcement Square. Do you make contact easily and do you enjoy dealing with people? Then we are looking for you!
What will you do?
- Setting up and dismantling the Reinforcement Square: making coffee/tea, putting A4 boards on the tables, rolling the pavement sign and digital screen into the right place.
- Receiving partners and answering any questions.
- Watching visitors, offering a listening ear, providing information and referring them to the appropriate services
- Filling out registration forms
- Participating in evaluation meetings (twice a year).
Job skills and qualities
- You have good communication skills.
- You are empathetic and contribute to a friendly atmosphere.
- You are well informed about which services take place at the Reinforcement Square or you are willing to learn about them.
- You are available for at least 3 hours a week.
