Sedna Herstelacademie is looking for enthusiastic volunteers who would like to host at our location in De Wijert and occasionally at other locations in the city of Groningen.

Job tasks and duties
As a host, you will be responsible for:
- Hospitally welcoming visitors and making them feel welcome
- Giving information about our activities and opportunities
- Guiding visitors to the right rooms
- Providing coffee, tea and light refreshments
- Preparing and cleaning rooms for activities
- Doing light housekeeping tasks, such as tidying up used materials and sweeping the room
- Light administrative tasks, such as answering the phone, answering messages and keeping track of visitors
- With additional opportunities to suit you (creative, PR, facilities, etc.)
Working hours (Monday to Friday):
- Morning shift: 09:00 - 13:00 (4 hours)
- Afternoon shift: 13:00 - 17:00 (4 hours)
Job skills and qualities
We are looking for someone who:
- Warm, friendly and welcoming
- Can work independently and has an eye for detail
- Flexible and solution-oriented
- Is comfortable in a low-stimulation environment and enjoys helping with light housework
- Has good social and communication skills
- Has basic knowledge of the Dutch language (other languages are a plus)

About Sedna Recovery Academy:
The Recovery Academy is a place to come to yourself, go on an adventure and discover your own path. We offer space for growth to people in recovery, such as after a disruptive experience or a period of mental health problems. You can start to feel again that you matter and that you have potential.
We offer workshops, courses and training around different themes and activities. We also offer work opportunities for volunteers.
