Foundation KnuffelKunst wants to promote hugging, touching and connecting people with each other, as well as stimulate the conversation around hugging and touching. In doing so, the foundation aims to combat loneliness and mutual hostility and mistrust - which has reached worrying levels after the past crisis years.
Job tasks and duties
- Manage the finances of Cuddle Art.
- Maintaining income and expenses.
- Making the annual budget.
- Taking care of the accounts.
- Ordering payments and invoices.
- Making financial reports for the board.
- Preparing financial statements.
- Seeking opportunities for grants or funds.
- Advising the board on financial matters.
- Participate in board meetings (3 times a year).
These tasks take about 3 hours per month on average. As treasurer, you will ensure that Cuddle Art remains financially healthy and that there is money for art projects that connect people.
Job skills and qualities
- Financial management: preparing budgets and monitoring cash flows.
- Accounting: tracking income, expenses and taxes.
- Reporting: creating financial reports and annual reports.
- Fundraising: apply for grants and organise fundraising.
- Liability: handling money accurately and responsibly.
- Communication: sharing financial information clearly with the board.
