Lentis family council

Lentis volwassen psychiatrie • job opening nr. 14116

Interesting about this job

For the family council we are looking for a new member to be appointed immediately. We would like to consult with you when you start with us.
You are committed to the family and/or relatives of clients/patients within Lentis. You contribute to the development and implementation of policy.
The family council currently consists of 7 people; a chairman, a treasurer and 5 general members. We could use some new members. Sometimes they play a role as confidants and bring up bottlenecks in consultations with the management.
As members:

  • You represent the interests of next of kin of clients/patients receiving care from Lentis, in relation to the continuity of care in general.
  • Think about the organisation of family meetings, keep an eye on whether they are organised by all departments.
  • You will consult with the management and the attention officers of the departments on the implementation of the family policy.
  • You will receive compensation for the time you spend on work.

Job tasks and duties

What are you going to do?

  • You will advocate for issues that are important to the next-of-kin.
  • You will participate in the activities of the family council.

Minimum education level: mbo

Job skills and qualities

This is what we are looking for in you:
You can empathise well with others and indicate what is important to most clients. You are good at talking about everything and are interested in the many facets of psychiatry.
You are critical, sharp and constructive in a pleasant manner. You can handle confidential information well. We expect an active attitude from our members. You obviously take your own personal experiences at Lentis into consideration, but as a member of the client council/committee you mainly stand up for the general interests of Lentis clients.
