On five Saturdays a year, the doors open at the repair café in the Ten Boer Village Hall, with volunteers helping with repairs. This can be in the technical field (metal, electrical, wood) but also in the textile field (sewing, knitting, etc).
You have contact with both customers of the repair café but also with the repair volunteers.
Job tasks and duties
- For the repair café, you will handle communication through our social media channels and liaise with the volunteer group.
- During a repair café, you are the host/hostess and ensure that the repair forms are filled in and matched with a repair volunteer.
- After a repair café, you process the repair forms in the repair monitor. This keeps track of how repairable the items are.
Minimum education level: mbo
Job skills and qualities
- You have some experience with excel, word, dropbox, online form filling.
- You have some experience with social media channels (Facebook, Instagram).
- You have experience with graphics software (Canva, inkscape, etc.).
- You are helpful and sociable.
