Computers for Minima is a small foundation consisting of a club of real techies with a passion for hardware, software, and the internet. This little club is where you come in as a web designer. The atmosphere is convivial and loose, under the motto "nothing must, and everything goes".
You work as you choose in the workshop of Computers for Minima (located at clothing bank the Sea Container), or from home - or a combination. Or, if you prefer, you can sit down with your laptop in the Noorderplantsoen, with a cup of coffee on the side, and work on the move. You're largely your own boss in this.
Job tasks and duties
You start by setting up a webshop entirely from scratch - choosing hosting, e-commerce package, programming languages, etc. You will then take care of the creation and rollout of this webshop. After that, you will stay involved in the necessary SEO/SEA, and ensure a streamlined integration with existing order fulfilment.
Job skills and qualities
You must be at home in the technical side of the internet. Remote server management? Database management? Modifying DNS records? These things are a piece of cake for you. Training in this is useful, but not necessary - if you have made yourself proficient in this, it is just as welcome.
