Bij Van Houten is a Neighbourhood Centre in the Oosterpark. We are there for all district residents who would like to do something in the neighbourhood. Everyone is allowed to participate here. As a result, we have a diverse team! The diversity makes everyone feel welcome! The atmosphere is relaxed and if it's busy in a department, we help each other.
What's nice about this place is that you meet fellow neighbourhood residents, get soup during your working days, a lot of fun and you can use and develop your talents.
If you would like to take your first steps towards work, that is possible. Here you can start working from all kinds of routes, but also without a route. The pathways include extra guidance.
Job tasks and duties
Neighbourhood Centre at Van Houten has not been around for that long. We are busy renovating and developing it further. Good communication is of course important and we need help to do this. As a communication volunteer, the following tasks belong:
- create road signs
- designing posters
- keep track of social media
- writing press releases
Job skills and qualities
- You can write Dutch well
- You can handle computers
- You can work with Canva or willing to learn
