Would you like to contribute to a mulitsport event in Groningen? Then this is your chance!
We are looking for volunteers (especially ban counters) to help at Tritanium's Sporteiland Swim Run on 20 April 2024. A swim run is a race that consists of two parts, swimming first and running as the second part. This race is open to everyone, which makes it nice that you will be helping at a small-scale event. The participants consist of people who have yet to be introduced to multisport and the avid athletes who have already become totally hooked on triathlon sport.
Job tasks and duties
We are mainly looking for lane counters at the moment, but there are also other tasks to be done that are related to organising a competition, so please do get in touch if you would like more information!
As a ban counter, you will be keeping track of how many lanes a competitor has swum in the pool, so that you know whether they have actually covered the distance they are supposed to. Then you can note the swimmer's swim time, allowing it to be processed in the results afterwards by the organisation.
Minimum education level: basisschool
