The 3 hectares site is beautifully located on the Drentsche Aa, where you can especially enjoy being outdoors while working, being together with like-minded people and making a meaningful contribution to the future by developing a food forest with an inspiration centre. The work is very diverse (green production, catering, social media, information and sales) and through the expert guidance of organiser Madeleine, landscape designer Marlies and cook Marianne, you can learn an awful lot about food, nature and inspiration that Food Forest at Glimmen.
Job tasks and duties
The work of the teams is very diverse: vegetable team, production team, catering team or social media, information and sales at markets. And you can join several teams, depending on your talents and interests. The work ranges from planting and maintaining a food forest, harvesting, drying and processing produce, making recipes and helping with catering, or telling the story about the food forest, products and activities to interested parties. Each week you will receive a work list describing what to do that week.
