Job tasks and duties
The KTGG is a non-profit organisation that runs entirely on volunteers and donations. Its mission is to bring the existence -and its process - of Transgenerational Organised Violence (TGG) out of the shadows. TGG is a term that refers to repeated, organised, systematic and sadistic abuse of people at a very young age on physical, psychological, sexual and emotional levels. KTGG aims to contribute to increasing recognition of the inhuman suffering that TGG survivors have lived through, as well as improving and expanding the specific counselling and treatment options they need.
Our current activities include:
- Organising symposia for professionals and survivors.
- Doing research on organised abuse.
- Informing, teaching, coaching, and giving/initiating peer review and supervision to social workers.
- Spreading relevant information around the topic of TGG within and outside the mental health sector (including politics).
The KTGG is at the beginning of a process of professionalisation, made necessary by the growing demand for knowledge around TGG and in response to the advice of the Hendriks Committee (the Temporary Investigation Committee on Organised Sadistic Violence of Minors) to become a professional knowledge centre.
Minimum education level: hbo/wo
