A few hours of your time makes a world of difference to our elderly. It is incredibly fun to get to know the elderly and fight loneliness together. An easy and super fun way to do your bit for society!
Job tasks and duties
Oma's Soup organises fun activities for elderly people. We are looking for volunteers to join our 'soup to home' days.
- During ' a soup at home day', you bring a soup and a visit to our elderly people. Your smile and visit makes a world of difference to our elderly people!
- You visit the elderly at home with a fresh soup and give them company. Often the elderly invite you to have a cup of coffee together, take a walk or do something together.
- Since some addresses of the elderly are just outside the city centre, it is advisable to have a bicycle for the Soup at Home Day.
- Soup at Home Days are often on a Thursday between 14:00-16:00 but if another time is more convenient that is also possible.
