For a group of male residents at our residential centre we are looking for someone to join us on walks as a companion. For these gentlemen the combination of a bit of exercise and sociable interaction is highly desirable!
Job tasks and duties
It involves about four male residents of our residential centre, some of whom are able to walk by themselves and the others go along in their mobility scooters. As a volunteer, you will pick the men up at an agreed time for a (short) walk in the neighbourhood. Afterwards, you will have a nice chat over a cup of coffee at the residential centre.
Job skills and qualities
You are sociable and can walk (short distances). Otherwise, a background in or knowledge of care taking is not necessary
