Job tasks and duties
Do you want to further develop yourself professionally? Doing your bit for Red Cross activities and projects? For the locations Noord, Noordwest and Oost Zuidoost Groningen we are looking for a location coordinator emergency assistance.
In this position, you will ensure that assistance and medical care is provided at events and in response to requests for help during crisis situations by highly deployable and qualified volunteers. You will be the point of contact for the volunteers, give direction and guidance in the implementation of activities and ensure good mutual cooperation. You are part of the coördination team in your working area and form a community with the other Location Coördinators Auxiliary in the Groningen district.
Minimum education level: mbo
Job skills and qualities
Our ideal Site Coördinator Auxiliary:
- Can manage, inspire and motivate a group of volunteers.
- Is great at organising and has a heart for relief work.
- Can move with others and gets energy from working in a highly innovative organisation.
- Has good communication, social and networking skills.
- Holds a first aid certificate or is willing to obtain one.
- Preferably lives in the working area.
- Aligned with the Red Cross' founding principles and strategic objectives.
