Our target group consists of people with mild intellectual disabilities. Each resident is unique in his/her own way. Each resident has their own interests. Several residents need a buddy with whom they can do something fun. This does not have to be long and often, but with some regularity so that they have something to look forward to. Job tasks and duties
For our residents at Humanitas DMH, location ORKA and de Moestuin, we are looking for volunteers for several residents. We are looking for volunteers who enjoy doing something together for a few hours once a week or every fortnight. By scheduling an introductory meeting first, you can indicate what your interests are and what you are open to. This could be a walk, visiting shops, having coffee/tea somewhere, etc. Based on the introduction, we will look for a match. Our form of housing consists of 26 residents.
Minimum education level: mbo
Job skills and qualities
- Some experience with the target group.
- Social.
- Strong on your feet and exude calmness.
