We work in a team, do things together. Children are happy with your attention. After just under two hours, it's also "finished".
Job tasks and duties
Every Tuesday afternoon after school there is a kids' club. We pick them up from school, have a glass of lemonade and catch up. After which a standard Christian children's club is held: candle lighting, prayer, Bible story, crafts and, as icing on the cake, "hero of the day"--> a child is put in the limelight for some reason and gets a toy.
The children who come are the children from the neighbourhood. Everyone is welcome, whatever faith they have.
Job skills and qualities
We are looking for people who love children growing up in disadvantaged situations. Get less than normal attention at home.
We are looking for people who like creative work. Making something beautiful together with the children.
The best thing would be if you are also able to tell a Bible story simply.
