Job tasks and duties
Residents bring broken items from home. At the Repair Workshop, as a volunteer you will investigate the problem together with the resident; what is wrong with the appliance? Can it still be repaired? In doing so, you are able to involve the resident in the repair process and transfer knowledge if necessary. This way, we keep the waste mountain small, you gain knowledge and strengthen social contacts.
The workshop has tools and work tables to repair the things brought in.
Job skills and qualities
- You have knowledge of electronics.
- You can make simple repairs.
- You are meticulous.
- You enjoy working with others and like being part of a team.
- You are available on Friday afternoons from 13:00 to 16:00.
