Your days and times are flexible. Furthermore, you will be part of neighbourhood company the GroenHuis where a lot of great work is done within good atmosphere. There is a thrift shop, woodworking, neighbourhood handyman team, a repair café and more. Every day you see all kinds of colleagues and plenty of local residents drop by in the thrift shop, for example. Every day is different.
Job tasks and duties
At the side of the building we have space for vegetable gardens. For several years now, all kinds of things have been grown in suitable vegetable garden boxes. Potatoes, carrots, pumpkin, lettuce and more. Little flower beds have also been created on the ground and now contain fruit trees. An orderly garden that a small club of volunteers is currently working on.
The harvest from the garden is used for lunch within the GreenHouse, or we hand out to meal initiatives in the neighbourhood.
Job skills and qualities
Within our kitchen garden club, we are looking for reinforcements. We already have a lot of knowledge and skills, but we are looking for someone who is available to work in the garden for at least 4 hours every week. It is important that you enjoy working in the garden. Furthermore, we can teach you a lot.
