We offer an interesting workplace in a wonderful museum in a beautiful location with a fine group of enthusiastic volunteers. You'll speak to people who are surprised by this unique museum. You can participate in guiding other activities such as concerts and workshops. Our financial situation does not (yet) allow remuneration to volunteers. You have free access to our concerts. We also organise regular days and outings for all volunteers.
Job tasks and duties
You will work as a museum hostess/host for our visitors, who visit our museum individually or as a group. You will prepare the museum for our visitors at the beginning of your shift. You receive visitors and offer the audio tour. You will learn how to use the digital cash register. You will serve coffee and tea in our museum café and settle consumptions and shop purchases.
Job skills and qualities
We are looking for someone who enjoys working in a museum (team), is representative and communicative. Affinity with music and historical instruments is an advantage. There should be a willingness to devote at least one half-day a week to this. A monthly schedule will be used.
