Gea’s Weggeefwinkel is in a building full of other neighbourhood initiatives (MAGMA) and together with other volunteers you will be responsible for the shop. The tasks are varied and so no day is the same.
- It is rewarding work, besides giving things away, the shop is also a social meeting place.
- You get people out of their isolation. In short, a warm bath to come and to work!
Job tasks and duties
Would you like to be active in Groningen's nicest (free) giveaway shop and help people in the neighbourhood together with other volunteers? Then this might be just the thing for you!
- hanging clothes in the shop.
- Assisting customers, serving coffee/tea.
- Assisting customers at the counter or sorting incoming goods: time flies!

Every Monday, Wednesday and Friday, the Giveaway Shop is open, from 1pm-4pm.
