Job tasks and duties
Are you a hairdresser, nail stylist or masseur, for example? Or can you provide an activity such as mindfulness, sculpture or woodworking? Or are you a coach? And would you like to volunteer some of your time to a good cause? Then we are looking for you!
We, at the Hamelhuys Foundation, are constantly looking for Service Providers who want to volunteer for our guests: (ex-)cancer patients and their loved ones. Hamelhuys is the Centre for Living with and after Cancer in Groningen.
Job skills and qualities
You enjoy working with people and are also communicative.
You care about our charity.
Extra information
Foundation Hamelhuys is the Centre for living with and after cancer in Groningen. (Ex-)cancer patients and their loved ones can drop by for a cup of coffee, a chat, a listening ear and activities that promote well-being.
The centre is partly run by (trained) volunteers. Some volunteers are ex-patients or have experienced the disease at close quarters. But this is not necessary. Activities, workshops and lectures are held as needed. What matters most is contact between fellow sufferers. Talking together, having a drink, taking part in an activity or just being there for each other.
