Employee financial consultation hour WIJ Beijum

Within the Entree of Beijum, many questions about finances come in. We want to bundle these questions into a financial consultation hour. To this end, we are looking for volunteers who can support residents with financial questions. Local residents can drop by at WIJ Beijum. Apart from contact with colleagues, we also collaborate with Social Services and the Groningse Kredietbank.
Examples of support questions from residents may include:

• Drafting a budget plan (income and expenses)
• Requests regarding assistance such as special assistance
• Applications regarding remission of municipal tax, water tax
• Requesting a food bank package
• Checking allowances, such as rent and healthcare benefits and mini schemes

• You have an affinity for money matters.
• You have knowledge of budgeting.
• Administrative skills and being able to work in a computerised system is a requirement.
• Some knowledge of the social map of Groningen in terms of schemes and facilities both municipal and national schemes.
• You have good communication (interview) skills.
• You can work punctually.
• You are stress-resistant and have a firm footing
• You can work in a dynamic environment
• You are available for at least 4 hours a week (one half-day), but you are also flexible. For a participation job, you must be available for at least 16 hours a week.
• You are representative.
