Job tasks and duties
On Wednesday afternoons between 1 p.m. and 3 p.m., a group (+/- 10) of enthusiastic deaf/hard of hearing people with physical/mental disabilities from the day care location play the ball game Boccia. We do this in the sports hall opposite the day-care location. To play the game properly, it is nice when the activity leader can be supported by you. If you have good mobility and enjoy guiding a ball game, we are looking for you!
Minimum education level: lbo/mavo/vmbo
Job skills and qualities
- Communicatively you are capable because you work with deaf/deaf/hard-of-hearing people.
- You do not have to know sign language right away but wanting to learn it is desirable.
- In addition, you are sociable, helpful and patient.
- Physically, you are able to push a wheelchair because people can have physical disabilities in addition to being deaf/deaf-hearing.
