Together with the PR group, you will take on the challenge of further shaping the Gallery's PR. We want to promote every exhibition appropriately and/or surprisingly. There are about 10 exhibitions a year and regularly other activities to pay attention to. So there is a lot of variety in your work and, in addition to internal contacts, also external contacts in the art world. You will also be part of an enthusiastic team of 20 volunteers.
Job tasks and duties
Together with the PR committee:
- Write, check and distribute press releases.
- Posting press releases, flyers on the various Social Media.
- Placing messages/events in the various Arts Newspapers.
- Compose posters and flyers and texts for new exhibitions.
- Up to date the Website, Instagram account, Facebook and other Social Media.
- Managing the Forma Aktua Website using WordPress
- Photographing openings exhibitions and other events, editing and posting on the website and social media.
- Maintain Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, possibly LinkedIn.
- Visitating openings of new exhibitions/participating in volunteer meetings.
Minimum education level: hbo/wo
Job skills and qualities
Who are we looking for?
- You are enthusiastic, inventive, language-savvy, creative, collaborative and committed to the PR of the gallery together with our team.
- You have an affinity for art and knowledge of social media, you have experience with marketing and PR strategy. Contacts with art and art world is a plus.
- You are available for an average of 4 hours per week.
