Job tasks and duties
Foundation De Weide Blik supervises people who need a helping hand. So that they can then take the next step, for example towards work or schooling. You cooperate and help the regular guidance in supporting the participants.
You are assistant supervisor in one or more of the work areas:
- Wood workshop; various helping hands or supporting wood activities with the participants.
- Garden: supporting participants in garden activities(vegetables).
- Technical workshop: supporting participants activities in repairing e.g. bicycles, farm cart, boat, utensils and making bicycle parts.
- Shop: helping take care of the shop's appearance, supporting participants in helping customers in the shop, keeping the shop clean.
- A participation job requires a working week of at least 16 hours.
Minimum education level: lbo/mavo/vmbo
Job skills and qualities
- You are reliable and well-groomed.
- You have a sense of dealing with people who have disabilities.
- You must be able to work independently.
- You see the work ahead and like to get down to business.
- You can/want to learn to work in a small team.
Extra information
- By cooperating and by your example behaviour, you will help in guiding our participants in the activities.
- We find it important that you fit in with the existing group. After an introductory meeting, you will join us for a few half-days to see what we can do for each other.
- If, after a participation period, you prove to have professional knowledge and coaching skills, a volunteer allowance is negotiable (if there s no pathway opportunity). We will only make final agreements on this after a short participation period.
