Job tasks and duties
- Taking a long walk with the dog;
- Cleaning litter box/ birdcage;
- Giving medicine to a pet (not necessary)
- Taking a pet to the vet if necessary;
- Giving appropriate attention to the animals owner;
Job skills and qualities
In addition to endorsing the aims of the Animal Welfare Society, you have or are:
- Affection with pets and their welfare;
- Experience in dealing with the elderly and/or chronically ill;
- A stable and reliable personality;
- Required to provide a helping hand and a signalling role for the pet and elderly/chronic ill;
- Social and communication skills;
- At least one half-day per week available;
