Job tasks and duties
The internet senior magazine "Vlaiger" informs people over 50 in the city and province about news and issues of interest or interest to them.
Vlaiger is part of the Seniors in Word and Image Foundation.
Foundation board and editorial board consist solely of volunteers, currently already 10 people.
We also distribute a monthly (digital) newsletter to an ever-growing group of subscribers.
Name recognition is hugely important to us; building a network is indispensable for this.
We are therefore looking for someone who enjoys contacting residents organisations, village and neighbourhood associations, older peoples organisations and whatever else there is to discover by e-mail, whatsapp, phone or in person.
Do you enjoy volunteering to help raise our profile?
You can do so from home or at our little office in the Vondel flat, which is available 2 afternoons a week.
We meet once every two weeks in our office in the Vondel flat.
There we go through the daily or weekly routine and discuss ideas and choices for possible publications, film reports, podcasts, etc.
Minimum education level: havo/vwo
Job skills and qualities
- You have a good command of the Dutch language.
- Flexible, independent, proactive and collegial,
- Knowledge of the social map is a plus (being able to find contact details of club- community centres, elderly organisations, etc.
- You have knowledge and experience with social media.
- You can work independently.
