The Floreshuis wants to be ‘the house of the neighbourhood’s. A place where everyone is welcome and where you can be yourself together. We want to be meaningful for everyone who wants something or wants to make the neighbourhood more beautiful. We support or help these people. We want to make things possible.
Many volunteers enjoy working with us. We find it important why you join us. What exactly makes you want to come and work with us, because we want to contribute to that. Would you like to learn something with us, or just be among people, it is all possible with us. Last year, several people found paid jobs through us.
Job tasks and duties
- You receive walk-in local residents, welcome customers and answer their questions. For complex questions, visitors may be referred to the WIJ team.
- You are part of a team of volunteers who are deployed for several half-days. The team has a meeting every six weeks.
- For a participation job, you are available at least 16 hours a week.
Job skills and qualities
- Guest women/men are pivotal in the day-to-day operations of the Floreshuis.
- You are interested in the ups and downs of the neighbourhood and the community centre.
- You welcome people as warmly as possible (as you would like to be welcomed).
- You are a good listener and want to help visitors as much as possible.
- If necessary, you will help behind the bar and help keep the bar and reception area clean.
Extra information
This vacancy can also be filled as a participation job.
