Job tasks and duties
At our primary school, there are children for whom it would be nice to have some extra guidance a few times a week for, for example, practising reading or doing a maths game. You are an auxiliary teacher for them. Sometimes you work in the group, or sometimes you work independently with the children in the meeting room.
Job skills and qualities
If you have a heart for children and want to listen to them with an eye and ear, this is just the thing for you. The teachers will prepare some work for you that you can do extra with the children on one or more occasions during the week. In doing so, you can really help them develop, you will see the children grow!
In addition to working with individual children, you will sometimes work with a group. You will be a welcome face at school, helping where possible. This could include activities and creative lessons. Or by just making a cup of tea or coffee.
Extra information
In consultation, we will agree which times you will be there. The most convenient time is in the morning, because that is when most of the learning activities take place and we can really use your help. But you can come to our school in the early afternoon. We are happy to discuss what suits you and us best. And we are also open to your ideas about what you could and would like to do for us.
