You will be involved with a small group of residents who have similar interests. You will also get to know the target group and help them carry out their hobby.
Job tasks and duties
The talent centre is looking for an enthusiastic volunteer who has an affinity for woodworking and who would like to support our clients in working in the Woodshop in which clients make products (mainly from wood). Depending on what they make, they need support in using the tools.
The small group of clients working in the wood hut has different ages. They really enjoy working with wood, but also like a sociable atmosphere and humour.
Job skills and qualities
We are looking for someone who:
- Has good social and communication skills.
- Experienced in working with wood.
- Assists in conceiving and implementing products.
- Provides coffee and tea.
- Assists in using battery-operated tools.
Extra information
From the Talent Centre, you will be properly trained and given a regular contact person. As a volunteer, you must apply for a VOG.
