Job tasks and duties
Wijkwerken is an initiative of WerkPro. It employs people who receive employment support for various reasons. We think it is important that you can develop yourself and participate in society. Among other things, you can work in the management of many neighbourhood centres and Vensterschools in the city. There are many different activities to do in these centres.
We take care of maintenance around the Vensterschool, working together with the management to ensure that the building has a neat appearance. We maintain a number of vegetable gardens in the area around the Vensterschool, vegetables and fruit from the garden are used in the Window Cafe. For this, we are looking for enthusiastic employees.
- You will do various tasks such as hoeing, pruning, sweeping leaves and clearing litter.
- You will help improve the appearance of the site.
- You will help maintain the surrounding neighbourhoods.
- You go into the neighbourhood to pick litter.
- You do small jobs in the Vensterschool. These might include building a stage or hanging a painting.
Job skills and qualities
- You like working outdoors.
- You are interested in working in green spaces.
- You can be tough when needed.
- You can clean up and maintain tools.
