Job tasks and duties
You as a volunteer:
- Provides a cosy, inviting atmosphere in the day care centre or patient room.
- Supports the (individual) patient, e.g. in the form of listening to music, having a chat, reading the newspaper together or playing a game.
- Also supports the nurses in group and individual activities.
- Can take a walk with the patient on the nursing ward.
Job skills and qualities
You:
- Cognise yourself as an open, enthusiastic and welcoming person.
- Have a great sense of responsibility and can react calmly and act tactfully in difficult situations.
- Looks presentable.
- Holds a good command of the Dutch language.
- Are available for a longer period of time.
- Are available for at least two half-days a week (you will be deployed 1 half-day per week, for guest transport 2 times a week).
- Have an affinity with healthcare.
